Under the hood
How this site is built, and why AI can read it.
We tell clients their website is the first thing an AI reads about them. So here is ours, opened up: the stack, the speed, the structure and the receipts.
The numbers, live from your browser
Those are measured on your device, right now, not on a lab machine. Independent scores: SE Ranking 98 of 100 site health, Lighthouse SEO 100, accessibility 100 on the service pages.
The stack
WordPress runs the site, but the pages you read are built as finished, hand-written HTML by our own plugins, not assembled by a page builder on every visit.
Server-side static cache, HTTPS, daily backups and patches. The same host we recommend to clients.
One typeface, loaded from Google Fonts with a swap, so text shows before the font arrives.
Every form on the site, including the one at the bottom of this page, lands in the same inbox and the same lead record.
Loaded after you have had a chance to interact, and only sets cookies if you allowed analytics in the cookie card. Consent Mode is on.
Pages, navigation, the Insights library, The Shift, the footer you are about to scroll into, the share cards and the schema are each a small plugin we wrote and can read line by line.
What makes it readable by AI
- Schema on every page. Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Article, FAQ and Breadcrumb markup in JSON-LD, all pointing at one entity for Agency AEO.
- Answers first. Every service page and article opens with a direct answer in plain English, in the first paragraph, where a language model looks.
- A sitemap and an llms.txt. The XML sitemap is at /sitemap.xml. The plain text guide for AI crawlers is at /llms.txt.
- One name, everywhere. The business name, address and phone match here, on Google, on Yelp and in the schema, because AI trusts what agrees with itself.
- Real text. Headlines are text, not images. Even the pixel headline in the footer is a real H2 underneath the canvas.
- Fast and clean. No page builder bloat, no stacked tracking scripts, nothing loaded that the page does not need.
Who built it
Designed and built in Louisville by the team at Agency AEO with Web Wishery, our sister studio for websites and hosting, and Omythic for the brand. Copy by people. Audited by machines. Both of them read it before you did.
