For everyone, on purpose

Built to be read by people and machines.

An AI search agency that cannot be read by a screen reader would be a bad joke. This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA, and when something slips, we fix it. Tell us.

Our commitment

Agency AEO wants every visitor to be able to read, navigate and contact us, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across agencyaeo.com, and we audit against it every time the site changes.

What is in place

  • Real structure. One H1 per page, headings in order, landmarks for header, navigation, main content and footer, and a skip link to the content on every page.
  • Keyboard first. Everything you can click you can reach with Tab, including the menu, the dropdowns, the cookie card and the forms. Focus is visible.
  • Contrast. Text meets AA contrast on both the dark and the light sections. The bright gradients are reserved for large headlines where they clear the ratio.
  • Motion you control. The animated logo, the pixel headline, the spinning logos in the footer and the scroll effects all stand down when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Images and icons. Meaningful images carry alt text. Decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Forms. Every field has a visible label, required fields are marked in the label, errors are announced, and nothing depends on color alone.
  • Text, not pictures of text. Headlines are real text you can select, zoom and translate. The site works at 200% zoom and on phones from 320 pixels wide.
  • Plain language. We write for business owners, not for other agencies, and we avoid jargon where a plain word does the job.

How we check

Every page runs through automated audits (Lighthouse, axe) before it ships and again after. We also check by hand with keyboard-only navigation and VoiceOver, because automated tools catch only part of the problem.

Known limits

  • The Google Maps embed on the contact section is Google's own interface and has the limits Google gives it. The address and a Directions link sit next to it as text.
  • Articles in Insights sometimes embed screenshots of AI answers. Each one carries a written description of what the screenshot says.
  • The pixel headline in the footer is drawn on a canvas. The real headline sits underneath it as text for screen readers and search engines.

Tell us when something is wrong

If any part of this site is hard to use, email mark@omythic.com or call or text (502) 794-7447. Tell us the page and what happened. A person reads it, we reply within two business days, and the fix goes on the next deploy. If you need any content in another format, ask and we will send it.
